Heroes of the Mist is an actual play, live streaming, tabletop role-playing game using Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 1st edition. We have include a number of features to help make it more interactive for the audience, rather than a purely passive experience.

First and foremost, this is a fundraiser for the 501(c)3 non-profit RPG Research, so extra benefits come from supporting this charity.

You, dear audience member, can directly influence events in the campaign, nearly real-time!

By merely hanging out in our Twitch channel, you can slowly gain Hero Points.

By making useful, supportive comments, referring people to join the channel, posting on Twitter and elsewhere to encourage people to join the show, our moderators may award you additional bonus Hero Points more quickly.

And to gain Hero Points the fastest, you can donate directly to RPG Research. That is after all what this show is about, a fundraiser for the non-profit 501(c)3 charitable 100% volunteer-run organization.

As you accumulate Hero Points, you will be able to “spend Hero Points” through the chatroom selecting from our online catalog the option you want activated with possible customization, (GM's discretion on the customization) selecting events to happen during the course of the adventure that will be integrated into the game play. This will happen as soon s the GM can reasonably integrate your request into the game play.
